Heat waves and other temperature extremes (from 1892)

Climate change is now one of the biggest global risks to people and society. The climate is also changing in Flanders. Simply put, this will result in ‘dryer summers, wetter winters, more heat waves and rising sea levels’ in our region. We will have to adapt to this change and we will have to come up with solutions to deal with it. This means focusing on climate adaptation.
